 Simple Past digunakan untuk menceritakan kegiatan pada masa lampau

1. Kalimat Nominal (Tidak menggunakan Kata Kerja)
• Tobe yang digunakan "was" dan "were"
• Cara mudah untuk menghafalkan
• They we you were         She He It Ani I was
• Atau dengan cara     (kalau sekarang menggunakan "am" dan "is" maka lampaunya gunakan "was", kalau sekarang menggunakan "are" maka lampaunya gunakan "were"
• Contoh
• I was sad last night. Now I am happy. ( Saya sedih tadi malam. Sekarang saya bahagia)
• You were there yesterday. Today You are here. (Kamu disana kemarin. Hari ini kamu disini.
•  Contoh Lengkap
• She was sad last night.
• She was not sad last night.
• Was she sad last night?
• Why was she sad last night?
• We were happy yesterday.
• We were not happy yesterday.
• Were we happy yesterday?
• Why were we happy yesterday?
2. Kalimat Verbal (Menggunakan Kata Kerja)
• Belajar Simple Past Kalimat Verbal tidak sampai 5 menit pasti bisa asalkan memiliki hafalan irregular dan regular verb yang cukup
• Kunci Simple Past itu hanya: V2, V1, did dan didn't
• Dua cara simple kuasai Simple Past Kalimat Verbal tanpa Rumus:
1. V2 : digunakan pada kalimat positif dan kalimat menanyakan subyek, contoh:
• She called you last night.
• Who called you last night?
• They went to campus yesterday.
2. V1: digunakan pada Kalimat yang menggunakan salah satu dari did / didn't, contoh:
• She didn't call you last night.
• You didn't study English yesterday.
• Did you study English two days ago?
• Did she call you last night?
• What did you write last night?
• Where did you wait for me last night?

Buatlah Contoh dari Kalimat Simple Past (Dua Puluh Kalimat yang terdiri dari 10 Kalimat Nominal dan 10 Kalimat Verbal Simple Past)

1. She was sad last night.
